Unither is a contract manufacturing organization (CMO) focused on a few premeasured dosage forms that are preferred by patients. Created in 1993 from the buyout of a Sanofi Group pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in France, which was generating €2.5 million in annual turnover at the time, Unither grew rapidly in the sterile unit-dose sector. Over the past 20 years, Unither has grown in its manufacturing activity while successfully developing new solutions, such as the Unistick. In the US, these are currently sterile blow-fill-seal (BFS), and Unistick liquid stick-packs. Unither Pharmaceuticals operates at an international level, having created a subsidiary in Brazil and another in 2013 in the USA through the buyout of UCB in the state of New York. This factory, with 250 people, has enabled them to become a leading global player in their field.
