Takeda Ireland Limited (TIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, a global research-based pharmaceutical company, the No 1 pharmaceutical company in Japan, and one of the world’s top 100 companies.
Established in Ireland since 1997, Takeda employs over 400 people in the following areas: manufacturing of drug products (DP), active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), process development, packaging, supply chain, sales and marketing.

TIL Bray, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has played a key role in Takeda’s worldwide operations since being established in 1997. To date employing over 400 people and serving as the main pharmaceutical production base for blockbuster products to the European and U.S markets.
Takeda Ireland Ltd – Grange Castle (API)
In 2002 the first Takeda API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) plant outside Japan was constructed in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, representing a key strategic addition to the group’s global production network. The plant will be the launch vehicle for new strategic products for global markets developing and producing API’s from clinical trial stages through to launch and full commercialisation.

Based in Citywest, Takeda Products Ireland Limited was established to market Takeda’s products throughout the Republic of Ireland. Takeda Products Ireland Limited is dedicated to improving Irish patients’ lives by bringing to the market, new and better medicines, developed by Takeda and key partners, to help address the nation’s most pressing healthcare needs. This includes debilitating conditions in key areas such as Cancer, Pulmonary disease, Cardiovascular disease, Type II Diabetes and Pain Management. Our current product portfolio includes Prostap, Mepact, Actos, Competact, Blopress, Blopress Plus, Edarbi, Midon, Instanyl, Matrfien, Xeforapid, Daxas, Protium, Somac Control, Preotact, Alvesco and Tachosil.
