Swedish Medtech is the industry organization for the medical technology companies in Sweden and brings together about 180 member companies. Medical technology encompasses everything from heavy equipment, such as x-ray equipment and heart and lung machines, to consumables such as needles, dressings and incontinence products. Also, IT in healthcare and tools are medical technology.
The association works actively with issues related to procurement, regulations, health economics, environment and sustainability, clinical research and collaboration.
