Sintetica Switzerland

Founded in 1921, Sintetica S.A. was the first pharmaceutical company active in Canton Ticino, Switzerland. At the beginning of 2002, a Pharmaceutical Group in Ticino took over the whole share capital. A substantial investment program was established, opening new international targets for Sintetica S.A. The facility in Mendrisio was object of a full revamping intervention giving to the structure an up-to-date state-of-the-art technology. The production capacity reaches 25 million ampoules per year. The facility Sintetica-Bioren in Couvet (Neuchâtel) acquired in 2005 is specialised in the field of parenterals and boasts a production capacity of 5 million infusion bags and more than 5 million vials.
