Based in Prague, Roche’s subsidiary in the Czech Republic was opened in 1992 and since then the company’s biotechnological medicines have been widely marketed. Roche is represented in the country by the Pharmaceutical Division, Diagnostics and Diabetes Care. The Pharmaceutical Division employs nearly 120 associates, while the Diagnostics and Diabetes Care organization employs around 80 people.
ROCHE s.r.o. has a strong position in the Czech market despite tough competition. In the Czech Republic, Roche focuses on marketing and sales in its main therapeutic areas: Oncology, Virology, Transplant, Haematology, Osteoporosis, Rheumatology.
