Nycomed is present in over 50 markets with 12,000 employees worldwide. Nycomed’s largest country presence by revenue is Germany, closely followed by Russia/CIS, Nycomed US and France. With net turnover of € 3.4 billion in 2008, Nycomed ranks number 28 among the world´s pharmaceutical companies and is the 16th largest provider of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. It held adjusted EBITDA at the 2007 level of € 1.2 billion.
