MUP is one of the most recent pharmaceutical firms in Egypt. In the scenic region near the city of Ismailia, MUP has established a modern pharmaceutical manufacturing facility which incorporates many contemporary construction design features, raw materials handling, production concepts, and state-of-the-art manufacturing lines which rival the most modern American, European and Japanese counterparts. MUP adopts the Total Quality Management (TOM) concept and methodology in all departments and up-to-date Quality Assurance (QA) techniques, not only in all production processes, but also in all administrative and supporting departments.
MUP acquired the latest ISO 9001:2008 Certificate from the British Standards Institute (bsi), and recently upgraded the conventional plant to be certified to ISO, 14001, 18001 & 17025 by the end of year 2015 . MUP is proceeding in the new Cephalosporin and Penicillin Plants and all sets for the EMEA certification.
