The Laboratoire National de Contrôle des Produits Pharmaceutiques was established back in 1995 as Algeria’s pharmaceuticals regulator with a view to managing the circulation of medicines within the country. It has subsequently been warded the status of reference laboratory by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
