The Open Joint Stock Company Farmak is one of the oldest pharmaceutical companies in Ukraine, manufacturing finished medicines and pharmaceutical substances. The company was established in 1991 on the basis of Kiev’s M. V. Lomonosov Chemical-Pharmaceutical Plant, which began producing synthetic medicines in 1925. Over the 80 years of its existence the company has become one of the leading manufacturers in the local pharmaceutical industry.
