As a Medical Contract Manufacturer, C-Axis, Inc. has two world-class medical device manufacturing facilities for the specific needs of major medical original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Our Minnesota and Puerto Rico manufacturing locations are certified and operate to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, which are an internationally accepted set of standards/guidelines.
Supporting the major medical OEM’s prototype requirements for new medical product development was the core reason for the start of C-Axis as a business. Jeff Haley founded C-Axis Inc. in 1997 with our first medical manufacturing facility built near the heart of the medical device industry (Minnesota) and has been in the contract medical manufacturing business for over 15 years.
In 2004, a number of the major medical OEM’s expressed a need for manufacturing support in Puerto Rico for their medical products. Once again, C-Axis stepped up to support their customers and built a facility in Caguas. PR. As the business has grown by adding capability, capacity, and people-we have out grown the current facility in Puerto Rico and in 2012 we’ve moved into a new world class medical device manufacturing facility also located in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
