Bayer Middle East is a wholly owned and fully consolidated subsidiary of Bayer AG based in the United Arab Emirates, and its representative and scientific offices in Egypt, Jordan, Cypress, and Saudi Arabia. In other countries in this region, Bayer’s products are marketed by distributors and third party agencies. Bayer has nearly 800 employees in this region and the various Bayer activities in the Middle East.
As of 2014, the legal entity Bayer Limited Egypt LLC was established, strengthening Bayer’s presence in the country. With over 150 employees, Bayer Egypt represents over 20 percent of the Bayer Middle East’s workforce.
