Bayer’s presence in the Netherlands segments Bayer HealthCare, Bayer CropScience and Bayer MaterialScience. The main markets for Bayer products in the Netherlands are health, agriculture, construction and automotive industries. The three segments in our land will yield about 500 million euros in turnover of the parent group and employs around 600 people.
Bayer HealthCare’s aim is to human and animal health promotion. With innovative products, we are improving the welfare and quality of life by diagnosing, preventing and treating diseases.
Bayer HealthCare comprises four divisions. Bayer Shering Pharma, Animal Health, Consumer Care and Diabetes Care. There are more than 53,400 people work for Bayer HealthCare.
The business units of the division Bayer Schering Pharma – General Medicine, Specialized Therapeutics, Hematology / Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging – have medicines to treat diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, infections, immune and metabolic disorders, multiple sclerosis. There are also funds for contraception, erectile problems and products for imaging (contrast media).
