Astellas Pharma has its German headquarters in Munich and employs approximately 400 employees in clinical development, marketing and distribution. Astellas Pharma achieved a turnover of around 200 million euros in the German pharmacy market mainly with drugs for the treatment of transplant medicine, urology, Pneumology, Dermatology and self.Worldwide Astellas is ranked 23 in the pharmaceutical ranking. The accumulated consolidated revenues in fiscal year 2007 was at 6.1 billion euros. Astellas employed around 14 000 employees worldwide.
