Paul Buta is the Managing Partner of Mușat & Asociații and the Head of the Intellectual Property, Competition and Life Sciences Department, having advised and represented for more than 17 years some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and medical devices companies.
Paul advised clients on transactions, mergers & acquisitions, restruc- turings and reorganizations in the life sciences and healthcare sectors and on a wide range of regulatory and competition matters, includ- ing merger control, restrictive practices, dominance, cartel investi- gations, dawn-raids and sector inquiries. Paul has successfully repre- sented numerous clients before the regulatory and the competition authorities and before the competent courts.
