The Medical Research Council (ETT) was established as the legal successor of the National Public Health Council, and its history begins with the formation of the National Public Health Council after the Compromise. The history of the ETT can be divided into several sections, which of course are closely related to the different events of Hungarian history. However, despite this series of name and job changes, this story is accompanied by a peculiar continuity. The essence of continuity is the representation of professionalism towards the current health government.
